Terms of Service

By using Bobble ("the Service"), operated via bobbledesigns.com, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Bobble is a web application that converts images into crochet charts with colour palettes and row-by-row instructions. The Service is available as a free tier and a paid Pro subscription.

2. Accounts

You may use Bobble without an account (local-only mode). To access cloud features, you sign in with a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.

3. Pro subscription

• Bobble Pro costs £3.99 per month, billed monthly via Stripe.
• You can cancel at any time. Your Pro features remain active until the end of the current billing period.
• Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us if you need help.
• We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice.

4. Your content

You retain full ownership of any images you upload and charts you create. We do not claim any rights to your content. By using cloud sync, you grant us a limited licence to store and transmit your project data solely to provide the Service.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service or its systems
• Upload malicious files or content
• Abuse the Service (e.g. using it as general-purpose file storage)
• Resell or redistribute the Service without permission

6. Service limits

• Free accounts: up to 2 projects (stored locally)
• Pro accounts: up to 50 projects (stored in the cloud)
• Maximum project data size: 5 MB per project

We may adjust these limits with reasonable notice.

7. Availability

We aim to keep Bobble available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may need to perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability. The offline-capable PWA will continue to work for locally stored projects.

8. Limitation of liability

Bobble is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding any claim.

9. Account deletion

You can delete your account at any time from the Account settings page. This permanently removes all your data from our servers. We may also terminate accounts that violate these terms.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance. For significant changes, we will notify you via the email associated with your account.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Jersey (Channel Islands).
